My Voice

What does it actually mean to hear from God? Not just to witness his power or read about his miracles, but to genuinely recognize his voice in the middle of an ordinary day? That question sits at the heart of this message, and it challenges us to move beyond simply knowing about God to actually knowing him. Drawing from John 10, we are reminded that the Good Shepherd leads his sheep by going before them, not driving them from behind. His sheep follow him because they know his voice. But knowing that voice requires something from us: proximity. We cannot hear someone we are never close to. This message calls us to examine how much of our week we spend within earshot of God, and whether we are content to let others do the listening on our behalf while we simply benefit from their time with him. The invitation here is deeply personal. God does not reserve his voice for apostles and prophets alone. He wants to speak to each of us, to call us by name, and to lead us into what he has prepared for us.
