Stay in the Bowl

At the heart of the church's birth on the Day of Pentecost lies a miracle we often overlook: unity. Before tongues of fire descended, before supernatural languages were spoken, 120 believers from vastly different backgrounds came together in one accord. This wasn't uniformity—Peter remained different from John, Mary stood in her unique calling—but they shared one passion, one purpose, one heartbeat. The message challenges us to examine where we stand in the 'bowl' of community. Are we hiding on the edges, ready to fall out at the slightest disturbance? Or have we moved toward the center, allowing others to help keep us grounded? Drawing from Psalm 133, we're reminded that unity isn't just pleasant—it's where God commands His blessing. Like the precious oil running down Aaron's beard or the dew from Mount Hermon refreshing the land, unity creates an atmosphere where divine manifestation occurs.
