Walk With Urgency
What if the most urgent decision we will ever make is the one we keep putting off until tomorrow? This message cuts straight to the heart of that question, drawing on James 4:14 and 1 Thessalonians 5:2 to remind us that life is a vapor and the return of Christ comes like a thief in the night. We have no guarantee of tomorrow, and yet so many of us live as though eternity is a distant concern. The message challenges us to stop straddling the fence between faith and the desires of the flesh, because as a striking analogy makes clear, the fence itself belongs to the enemy. There is no neutral ground. Every day we wake up, we are making a choice, whether we realize it or not, about who we are truly serving. Joshua 24:14-15 frames this beautifully, calling us not just to acknowledge God but to serve him wholeheartedly and put away every idol that competes for our devotion. The spiritual urgency here is not meant to produce fear but to awaken purpose. We are children of the light, and it is time we started living like it.
