The Soil

What kind of ground are we? That question sits at the heart of one of the most powerful teachings Jesus ever delivered, and it is just as urgent for us today as it was for the crowds gathered at the sea thousands of years ago. Drawing from the Parable of the Sower found in Matthew 13, Mark 4, and Luke 8, this message walks us through four distinct conditions of the human heart and challenges us to honestly identify where we stand. If we find ourselves producing only a fraction of what we sense we are capable of spiritually, this message reminds us that greater faith leads to greater harvest, whether that is 30-fold, 60-fold, or a full 100-fold return.
