The Hallway-Choices

Aug 10, 2025

In our spiritual journey, we often find ourselves at crossroads, facing multiple doors of choice. This powerful message reminds us that every door leads somewhere, but only one leads to true life and purpose. Drawing from Joshua 24:15, we're challenged to choose whom we will serve - God's way, our way, or the world's way. The hallway of life presents us with countless options, but we must discern which door aligns with God's voice and will. Just as entering a physical doorway resets our brain, our spiritual choices reset our focus and direction. We're encouraged to listen for God's voice knocking on the door of our hearts, as mentioned in Revelation 3:20, and to open ourselves fully to His presence. The message beautifully parallels our daily decisions with biblical characters who made both wise and unwise choices, reminding us that our decisions have eternal consequences. As we navigate life's hallways, let's choose the narrow path that leads to forgiveness, peace, and eternal life, closing the doors to compromise and opening ourselves to obedience and faith.
