Father's Day
In our journey of faith, we often overlook the profound impact of fatherhood on spiritual growth. This message reminds us of the vital role fathers play in shaping their children's spiritual lives. The story of Abraham and Isaac building altars together (Genesis 22) serves as a powerful illustration of how fathers can demonstrate faith in action. Just as Isaac learned about sacrifice by watching his father, we too can pass on our faith through lived examples. The challenge for us is clear: Are we building spiritual altars in our daily lives that our children can observe and learn from? This isn't about perfection, but about consistency in our walk with God. By initiating Bible discussions, praying aloud, and speaking blessings over our children, we create a spiritual compass that points to True North - Jesus Christ. Let's remember that our actions speak louder than words, and our children are watching. How can we, like Joshua, boldly declare 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord' (Joshua 24:15) and live it out every day?
